Comparison between HB LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries in lithium iron phosphate batteries (Part 1)



       Lead acid batteries contain heavy metals such as lead and antimony, and the electrolyte is sulfuric acid, which pollutes the environment.Lithium iron phosphate batteries do not contain any heavy metals and pollutants, making them green and environmentally friendly.During the charging and discharging process of lead-acid batteries, combustible gas hydrogen gas may precipitate. According to Appendix B "Typical Example Diagram of Hazardous Areas in Explosive Gas Environments" in Article 23 of the "GB50058-2014 Design Code for Electrical Equipment in Explosive Hazardous Environments", it belongs to the IIC classification of gas explosive environments and is the highest level of the same class, flammable and explosive.The charging and discharging process of lithium iron phosphate batteries involves the migration of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes, without the generation of flammable gases, ensuring safety and reliability.
