China has set the goal of peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060, which is our solemn commitment to the international community. In the past 10 years, China has been one of the countries with the fastest reduction in energy consumption intensity in the world, exceeding the target of reducing carbon emissions intensity by 40% to 45% by 2020, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by a total of 5.8 billion tons. China has established the world's largest carbon market and clean power generation system. We hope that all parties can strengthen cooperation and firmly pursue the path of green and low-carbon transformation, jointly building a community of life between humans and nature.

Yantai is taking action to help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The 2022 Yantai International Forum on Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality, hosted by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Yantai Municipal People's Government, will be held at the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 2nd to December 4th.
